I am putting a single rail 4 speed in my xw 6cyl,i have a 6cyl and a 8cyl box,is there any differance in ratio of gears,and is the 8cyl box stronger.

someone on here can probably answer you better then me but i THOUGHT

first gear on a v8 is longer, higher top speed
box strength was the same
