looking at a wagon with 5.7 v8 its done 250,000ks are there any dramas with these with this milage?

have a look for oil leak,s my mates was leaking oil pretty bad looked like rear main area we pulled the box out but it was fairly dry i suspect sump gasket so now the engine is out getting new gasket and bearings and bigger cam.
