How long since the box had it's last rebiuild, how does the steering feel and handle and does it leak any oil.
When we had our HG premier stationwagon restored we bought an exchange unit just because it was leaking oil.
I'd suggest if your completely rebuilding the front end then rebuild or exchange the box to, why only do a part rebuild and not a complete rebuild.
