Folks,

Am prepping the beastie (HJ GTS Sedan) for paint. Have pulled entire front end (for different reason, and also to repair top guard mount points). Now getting to the "putting back together" stage. Will be painting inner guards before they go back in, and undersealing inside outer guards.

What is the easiest rebuild sequence - and to minimise damage to fresh paint?

Is it:- radiator support, inner guards, outer guards, nose cone? Or some other variation.

bolt the inner guards to the outer guards first, then put the radiator support on, then the guards go on, then the nose

it's how i always do it

the radiator support must go on first because it holds everything on at the front

the inner guards must be put on the outer guards first cause it'll be very difficult any other way

i spose it doesn't matter what order the guards or the nose go on, i just like to do the guards first, it makes lining thing up easier

Sweet, cheers. I'll let you know how it goes. This weekend with luck, a following wind, and a spare hour or two for sorting the inner guards. Failing that, next weekend. ;)
