okay so this makes me sounds like a dumb arse
i brought new radiator hoses for my HG and the bottom hose doesn't have a spring/coil in it,
i thought they had "coils" in em to stop em from collapsing???
damn you bursons!!!!

My 350 hoses didn't have coils nor did the new ones I bought. Hoses will not collapse during running as there is a built up of pressure.
