hey guys can anyone answer what the bulge on the left hand side of the consol is for??? i always thought if it had no bulge it was for the opel gearbox...and with a buldge its to suit a saginaw???? Edited by user Tuesday, 14 February 2012 1:51:18 AM(UTC)

simon i have come across original auto cars with no hump cut out??? so would there be a problem puting in a humpless consol if using a saginaw??? Edited by user Tuesday, 14 February 2012 3:34:08 AM(UTC)

Yep, you'll find that the linkages/shifter foul on the console when trying to select first (and possibly reverse, I forget) gears. I was wondering why the console was moving until I woke up to what the problem was.
