You have to put the photo onto Photobucket or similar then link it here.

If you hover your mouse over the photo in photobucket a drop down appears under the photo. Click on the "IMG code" and it will say "copied" You then simply paste the copied text here and you are done.

if it looks like the one below (which I think it migght) it was an option on:

XA, XB and landau/P5 LTD

When out of a Landau / P5 LTD it looks like this

When out of an XA or XB it has different dials as below

Thanks GCG, saves me trying to put up a pic. The last time I had to paste any thing it was at preschool 53 years ago lol. Its the same as the top pic but hasn't got the black backing plate. Was in the bottom of a box of junk I picked up. Into munro's so will stick it on ebay now I know the model. Thanks guys.

Ok , firstly , i know this is my first post here but i know these units very, very well , Of the first two shown , only the bottom one seems to be a genuine ford unit , the top unit is a Clarion with the tape door changed over or repainted with the ford logo , the unit in the second photo is also a clarion with the tape door redone or replaced with the ford item, You can use the tape door from an XC series ford cassette player , they fit fine. The way to tell is the ford fascia does Not have the IC symbol in the left corner next to the station indicator, it is all black , the clarions also have a green needle but that is easily recoloured , also , check also that it has the original mounting tabs spot welded on the case , not just screwed on.
there is also a difference in the wiring plug for the speakers by memory but cant exactly remember what till i can dig a couple out of the shed to have a look at again ,
Also the XA never got this as an option ,You might have got one through a dealer in the very last run of the XA's but XA fords had an eight track option , never cassette like XB , the knobs you show on the first two are for LTD but are also the standard knobs on the clarion branded unit,
I hope this clears up a few things for those who are after the ridgy dide item!..

I have seen genuine unrestored cars with verifcation of Ford Radio Cassette option in XAs, not 8 track.

And I also am not sold on the IC comments either. These are pretty much unwanted items in the GT world...i find it a little hard to believe that people have gone to trouble of painting tape doors and needles.

You do realise mountingg brackets are different between Landau/P5 LTDs (console mounted) and XA XBs were they mount in the dash?
