Hey all, i am about to buy a hx one tonner with a hq statesman front end. I am building it with my dad over the next 1-2 years hopefully :) i will post pictures of what we do as we proceed.

Our goal is to have a powerful yet reliable street car that i can drive everyday if i wanted to.

We will be stripping the car completely to check condition of panels chasis etc, repair/replace/upgrade whatever needs it. Then focus on engine n running gear, we are looking at rebuilding the 350 chev n putting two RB25s on it.

Cheers

Remember it is a HX which have ADR27A on it so you will have trouble fitting a Chev into it and registering it, unless it is a dead stock one compliant with ADR27A.

Best bet is not to buy a HX but to get a HQ or HJ. If the HX has a really good body and panels then buy it but search around for a HQ or HJ chassis for it, and then you can register it as a HQ or HJ which is much easier with a Chev.

I don't quite follow, how do you put two Nissan RB25 engines on a Chev engine.

Dr Terry
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0

Sign up to www.photobucket.com . After you've uploaded pics from your hard drive it will have a series of texts in boxes underneath each one. One text will be the image code and looks like

Simply copy and paste.
