I have a VN tank in my VK, but my fuel guage doesnt work. According to a Speedo shop i know of, the fuel sender OHM ratings for Full, Half and Empty on the VK are the same as the VN, but the gauge not work, its digital dash in the VK just so you know. The guy rekons a bad earth to the sender, but i earthed it directly to the battery to make sure, and nothing happens. Does this mean the sender is stuffed? how do i check it without pulling the damn tank back out?

Howard Instruments in Heidelberg Vic are the best on the electronic aspects of gauges .They are opposite VDO who made them, but VDO don't have any repair services and recommend Howards.
