as the title suggests Im after an VY/VZ OEM Battery for display purposes for my vehicle, so would not be fussed if it was flat, empty or not working but would prefer it to be in reasonable condition.

the batteries were made and supplied by exide batteries at Elizabeth some 7 years ago and they no longer make that shape or decal (trust me I have tried everywhere) and would have been also fitted to VY/VZ SS, Calais, S, SV6, Exec, Monaro etc so the chances of finding one should be good although time is not really on my side.

Have attached a photo to show what the label should read/look like from the top so people know which one im after and also what the battery looks like in general.

I have tried the RAA but they wont let me come down and see all the old batteries they have on their palett ready for recycling or tell me who they take them to be recycled.

if anyone has an old one at home thats in reasonable knick, in their car currently that they want to swap/change as its on its way out or know of a place that recycles them that might be able to help me out getting one PLEASE GET IN TOUCH WITH ME ASAP VIA PM OR REPLY TO THIS THREAD

If i can get an OEM it means i will be able to score higher when being judged.
