Long time reader, first time poster. Have just bought a fairly rusty HT Monaro. It currently runs a 308/powerglide and is red, was white and a 6 cylinder (Non GTS)when new. I am just starting down the road and was hoping someone recently has got one engineered/registered in NSW. Want to fit a new 350-383 motor, new 400 or better auto and it needs a complete diff. Have also looked at the "bolt in" IFS units with rack and pinion etc from places like Rodtech. Although in the industry, with access to great trades have had very little to do with this era of car, just wanted one for a long time! I know my plans would horrify purists but I see this car as a great starting point to create a fun cruiser muscle car without sitting on the wrong side of the car. Any advice from any recent involvement with NSW RTA/RMS and engineers gladly taken
