Hi All
I'm looking at replacing my faded HQ grille badge with a new one from rares.
Can anyone give me some tips on the best way to get the old one off preferably without breaking it and the best way to attach the new one.
Is it just a case of using Araldite or similar?
I know it's a pretty basic question, but at nearly $100 for the badge I want to do it once and do it right!
Thanks for any advice
Richard

The plastic insert has 2 x little plastic posts on the back, and are held to the metal emblem by 2 x little metal nuts that look almost like a flat washer with teeth on the inside. If you remove the emblem (one nut on the back of the grille) you'll see on the rear of it where the 2 x posts are "clipped" in place.

You will find the B1253 kit comes complete with the emblem and the speed nuts needed to hold it in place.
