There are a few anomalies on this plate.

HR225MR - 800 translates to the 800th manual RHD HR Special sedan probably out of Melbourne. I am assuming Melbourne because AFAIK they were the only plant the stamp MR or AR immediately after the body style in HR. Is there another 'M' after the 800 on the BODY line ? What are the chassis number & tag numbers, those numbers will confirm it as the Melbourne plant.

E58 is Opera & Ballet Green Sadlon vinyl trim in an HR Special sedan.

881 is the combination code for a car painted Finistere Green with a white roof (usually Grecian White in HR)

585-8566 is the Dulux code for Finistere green

558-8502 can't be correct. 558 is most likely 585 for the paint line type, but 5802 is Budgeree Green, which is an EH body colour. This code is more likely 585-5804 which is Fowlers Ivory, a common white seen in EH & HD series Holdens. So the white roof on this car is more likely Fowlers Ivory, not Grecian White more commonly seen in HRs. It is a very early HR, which may be the reason the Fowlers Ivory white was used.

Hello Friends,

The car is a special with the green colour and white roof but the code plate photo is covered with red dust and hard to read. The engine number is in the 30 000 range which makes it a very early build car. I am purchasing it as a donor as it 4 good doors, no rust in 1/4 panels and good guards and car had done 103 000 miles obviously in a dry remote area 186 and disc breaks front are obvious bonus items
