Hi all,
My Father has passed on his XK Ford to me and I am hoping someone can help me with some info regarding the Vehicle ID,
The ID Tag goes as follows....
Seriel Prefix - 4R1161
Seriel Number - 01312
Body - 18314R
Trim - 12
Model - 5212
Paint - I think it's AOC or ACC
Any Help would be greatly appreciated,

There are a couple of numbers here that may not be able to be identified properly, there were special codes for special orders, I will let you know what I know now without digging books for now.
Serial Prefix - 4R1161 June 61 model XK
Serial Number - 01312 number off assembly line
Body - 18314R number usually represents body number off jig
Trim - 12 medium blue cloth & metallic light blue vinyl
Model - 5212 most likely 3212 ? if so, Deluxe sedan 144ci/ Auto
Paint - I think it's AOC or ACC I would say ACC which is white roof with Pacific Blue bottom

That's awesome, thank you very much.
Definitely would be ACC paint, coz the car is Light blue with white roof.
And spot on with the model no. too, 144 ci Deluxe auto.
I was told this particular car was the first XK sold in South Australia, how true that is, I don't know.
Again, thanks for taking the time to do this, helped a lot.
