Anyone got a 15" steel rim in the HQ pattern for sale?
Need one as a spare, so appearance isn't a factor. Widths of 5-7 inches are OK.
Cheers,
Chris

There is this one but once the tyre is gone it's probably throwaway as it looks to be metric http://www.ebay.com.au/i...-1980-1987-/301275878366Or this: http://www.ebay.com.au/i...d-Wheel-SH-/271232377655HTH Jim.. |

About 10-15 years ago there was a guy who was a regular around the NSW swaps selling what everyone thought were 15" commodore space-saver wheels with new tyres on them, but after a number of unhappy "customers" tried to use them as front-runners on commodores they found they were 4.75" PCD.
Turns out they came from the 4th gen Camaro/Firebird or something similar from the 90s in the US (don't know how they got into Oz, or how he got so many of them). Might be worth looking for something like that as a spare. There's a number of US import people around who may have some stashed. I know they're only 4" or so wide, and you want 5-7", but it should already have a tyre fitted, so running a space-saver shouldn't be an issue.
A couple of years back I picked up a V2 Monaro 15x4 space-saver spare that I use in my Brock. I view it as Murphy's Law - when you have it, you'll never need it. |
Cheers,

Hi Chris, As I'm looking for potential wheels for my Jag I keep an eye out on eBay for Jag/Chev/HQ 15" wheels. This one is probably perfect for you & is in QLD. http://www.ebay.com.au/i...ims-Wheels-/321502238106Jim... |
