Hiya here is an interesting paint code that. Someone may be able to shed some light on. I have a ek van the paint code is 585-0036 585 being a solid dulon colour but i can work out the oo36. The original colour that i can see under all the other paintis a dark cacky green.
Whatchu all think?..

0036 is Hawthorn Green which is a fleet colour. The first part of the TRIM number should be 928 to match this.

Thanks dr terry yes the trim starts with 928 then B62 again i can find anything on the net to show b62 trim

Just with the fleet colour, was there a particular government utility that ordered hawthorn green im just left wondering how this van started off its life.

B62 is an EJ code, EK codes do not start with a letter.

I would suggest that this ute was built after EJ Production started and may have been fitted with EJ type trim. B62 is triton Green but in a Panel Van. B67 and B72 are gaps in the EJ Utility, but also many EJ codes start A.

I have found a few fleet colours that have trim codes that do not allign with any known codes.

I have also been trying to work out this paint code of 585-0036 hawthorn green,trim code 928-16 c I have a 1968 hk panelvan that is just about to get a full rebuild from a bare shell up and was trying to find out who ordered the fleet cars in this colour, any help greatly appreciated.thanks benny.
