What is the best gas system to use on my 308 (out of hq), that has just been fully recoed, it will be on straight gas. And, are there any probs. with its first start. (bedding in the rings etc.)

bedding rings in is only a problem if you use chrome moly rings naturally the best system would be gas research however not very cost effective if you run an impco set up for a stock to mild 308 a 425 mixer bolted straight to a four barrel holley throttle

forgot to mention you may need a primer fitted depending on the cam your running as a temp mesure you can just push the button on the converter while someone else turns it over hope the info helps

i got a impco straight gas carby and converter and indate tank (bout 14 months left)..all for sale ,let me know if u r interested...deffintly the carby and converter r good bits!
