Hey I was wondering what are the pro's and con's of these 2 cars and if anyone has a comparison of the 2 (eg power, fuel consumption etc) and just generally any common problems encountered with these 2 models. I'm looking to get a v6 as I'm a uni student so fuel is an issue. Also I'm looking to spend 5-8 grand.
Thanks in advance.

Hi VL_05.
You're better off with the VQ. If you're after a V6 you will find that only the VQ series 2 was available with that engine. All series 1s are V8. The VQ series 2 is the equivalent of a VP so VP Calais or Berlina LXs are also a nice cars, well |
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0 |

If you are worried about that you shouldn't buy a V6. |
