Hi all,

I have a HZ Premier with factory air fitted. I have a really funny thing happening at the moment and has only started after changing the large metal relay cylinder that's mounted on the inner guard near the fan blower. When I turn the motor off (key to the lock position) the blower fan keeps blowing for a few seconds and then shuts down. It doesn't do it all the time just every now and then. I had to replace this relay as the compressor was engaged no matter what position the lever on the dash was in, the new relay fixed this fault. Seems to be a power feedback issue, any ideas how to fix it??

Ta

Hi Peter, Was it a second hand unit that you got or a new one Just asking as some old relay do have a small delay caused by old age. ( the pole in the relay box becomes magntized and may not release straight away) not very common but can happen on very ol

Thanks Jim, yes it was secondhand. Will try to source a new one I guess, it's kind of like having a turbo timer at the moment!! The fan whirrs away then stops a few seconds later.
