Agreed, thats why this one is leaving me. I have a decent bonnet, but lets face it, they are getting hard to find with no rust in the front lip and straight hinge mounts. my bottom dollar would be 500 bucks.
I will link it up when i put it on.

I think that you are kidding yourself if you think that you are going to get $500 for a NOS XB GT bonnet 8-) .

Triple <SP?> that and then some may be more like it.

No!!!! then youll have more money than me to spend at Ballarat.

Doubt that we are after the same parts though as Ill be keeping my eye out for anything Capri (very rare there these days) EB Falcon or VP Commodore.

Hehe..yeah saw these a few days ago. Its always puzzled me why people selling seats make a big deal out of them being a rare colour vinyl, like white, and with rarer still cloth inserts.....and then post pictures of them torn to the ****house.

Who cares what colour they are, your looking at near on a thousand bucks to have them re-trimmed anyway,

BTW, the $1500 Coupe parts are back on Ebay.....for the third time. =-)

I dont tell people what they want to know, I tell them what they need to know!

hehhe, They will go around a few more times yet I think. Are you doing the ballarat swap Craig ?. I did the Bendigo one and people were walkin around mumbling about how if they wanted to pay ebay prices they would have stayed at home and shopped with a mouse.Ebay has even driven swap meet prices up, god for seller, bad for buyer but oh well, still some bargains to be had.

Hey Craig I dont know how to put a pic on this site but if you can do it for me that would be great.
I spotted a blue/white Gossy on ebay (type in "xb coupe") the parts look great!!! deep in the friggin bush!!! Id like to know where is the other parts and why rip a great car apart? and also does this guy have the shock tower and complience plates??????
I have a green/white Gossy and to see this gets me wondering and thinking what the f**k!!!
I feel like i want to put a bid on, they would look awsome in the pool room.
Check it out, and see what you think.
Cheers Phill.

Doc,

Yes, I did Bendigo last year, did ok but not terrific. Yes, Ebay has hurt Swap meets. Best chance of a bargain now is on the smaller stuff that doesnt get noticed or researched by sellers before they go to a swap.

Lots of dreamers at swap meets. Just wait til Sunday lunchtime and crunch them! =-)

Wont be doing Ballarat, too busy that time of year.

Except an engine and gearbox would probably go a long way to this thing getting going.
