Hi the alternator in my vs is buggered had racq out today. Anyone know the cost of a new one or how much I am looking at. And how hard is it once I get a new one to put it in thanks

9 times out of 10 it is only the regulator that is buggered.
A new reg is around $40-60, but beware that there are 2 types on the VS V6 - one type has a plug the same as an injector plug, while the other (dearer) one has a larger & more rounded plug. |
