Engine:

383 Stroker Chev High nickel 4-bolt 010 350 block with 11.5:1 Compression, High Flowed Heads, High Energy Sump, Eldelbrock High Flow Polished Water Pump, Double Row rollmaster Timing kit, Romac Balancer, crane gold roller rockers, Moroso Polished Alloy Rocker Covers, double valve springs, beam polished & shot peened rods, HPC Chrome Coated Victor Jr Manifold, 830dp Holley, 11" K&N Filter, MSD 6AL Igntion, Mallory Distributor, MSD Blaster 3 Ignition Coil

Gearbox:

Manual Valve Body T400, (unkown Stall Convertor)

Diff:

Ford 9 inch Disc Brake Holden Stud Pattern with 3.55 gears.

Interior:

Standard HQ GTS Front and Rear Seats, HX LE Monaro Dash, B&M Pro Ratchet Shifter, Battery in Boot.

Fuel System:

Braided Line thoughout the car, Holley Blue Fuel Pump in Boot, Holley Regulator.
(Soon to be Fuel cell with Magnafuel pump and reg)

Exhaust:

Twin 3" Mendrell Bent with X pipes
(Soon to be 2 rear resinators ending in a shotgun style under the number plate, once fuel cell is done)



































Ok well thought id give it a bit of an update...

As most know it was defected and ordered off the road till mod plates attached and exhsut quienten etc...

So have decided to de-reg it for the next 12 months to get as much done which i originally wanted to do while its off the road...

My First port of call is essentially fixing the defects...

The only ones that really need fixing are getting 2 mod plates one for the Diff and one for the Brakes. And quiet downt he exhust...

The mod plates are easy done..

The Exhsut at the moment is a twin 3" mendrell bent system with 1 muffler each side, i will add another 2 mufflers towrds the rear to quiet it down to hopefully around 96 decibels, at the moment its 124 decibels...

Then i will buy some cut outs with little electric butterfly's to 'open' the pipes after the 1st mufflers at the diff for 'race spec' noise when ever the need arises....

I have the wheels on ebay and looks like they are sold, for the mean time im going to put a set of steel rims on with HQ hub caps and white wall tyres, probably just got either 185 or 205 tyres all round keep it legal etc... only problem with this is the shortened 9 inch diff will suck the rear wheels well into the inner guards which could look cool but also might look a little wiered not sure yet...

After the wheels side of things is sorted, i will be getting a white rear venetian blind for the added grandpa look....

Then its on the Bonnet, Ive decided to go the reverse done to death 1billion times scoop, but have it moulded on and painted up this way it will be legal and shouldnt cause me any dramsa...

Then on the guages side of things, im going to put an assortment of 4 guages on the bonnet just inside the cowl scoop out of major sight but in a position i can see them well.. they will be eletric with isolators and everythign to make them legal.

Then it will be on to the engine bay, a few things im not happy with due to the quick build to get it on the road so the changes will be pretty much cosmetic...

*Add Alloy Radiator & Twin Thermos / Delete other fan
*Add Alloy Catch Cans eather side of radiator
*Add alloy wiper bottle with wiper motor etc again for legalities
*Add alloy radiator over flow bottle
*Change the current moroso rocker covers toa set of tig sheet metal alloy ones
* Add a smaller air filter to show of carb etc better.
* Add in Horn (hidden) for legalities

Body wise there are a few rough spots and some rust that needs some attention soon, im looking at fixing the rust and keeping it black for the time being depending on cost i might get a full re-spray in white and add either Black GTS tripes or Orange GTS stripes.

Interior:
*add a demister (for legaities)
*add reverse lights (for legalities)
*add a 5" tach and red and orange lights to replace broken tach
*Get new door trims from Rare Spares in GTS spec
*Get new Hood lining in GTS spec
*Get front and rear seats re-bolsted and covered in black vynal and hounstooth material.

Boot:
*Buy a fuel cell fit and install braided line and fuel pump (holley black)
*Try to make an external filler on the boot still working how to do this (for legalities)
*Make a MDF box style boot to keep it all looking neat cover with same vynal as the seats.

This is what i have planned for the next 12 months its a bit of a long list and no doubt i wont get it all done but i hape to get as much as possible...

this is how the car sits now before i de-reg and start the changes i hope to have the car as legal as possible to prevent as much as i can in the future...

mate i love your car, just bought a 77 hz sl kingswood, lookin for some decent wheels, i like the look of yours, and think they would suit my hz great, just wondering where bouts u got em from mate, 0449720080, would be good if u gave me a buzz, cheers

Bit of an update should be back on the road this week now i have joined a club and doing club rego...

since my last post i havent done everything i envisioned but have done:

*sold my pro star wheels, now running GTS rims until i buy new ones
*moulded a pro stock scoop to a spare bonnet
*installed oil,water, etc aguges to the cowl
*i have got sheet metal rocker covers getting welded fittings on now to run catch can, also having the can and water over flow tigs up from alloy one either side of radiator.

Inside only thing ive done is add:
*5" tach and red and orange lights to replace broken tach

The fuel system i have gone a different route and spent about $3000 on it all up.....

*welded a sump into rear of tank, added twin -8 pickups
*magnafuel prostar 500 pump supports 2000hp
*42 odd speed flow fittings and 25ft of braided line thought car

Still plan to do:

*Make a MDF box style boot to keep it all looking neat cover with same vynal as the seats.
*Add Alloy Radiator & Twin Thermos / Delete other fan
*Add alloy wiper bottle with wiper motor etc again for legalities
*Add alloy radiator over flow bottle
* Add in Horn (hidden) for legalities

MATE THAT IS ONE NICE HQ Monaro Dude i love it, i my self have rebuilt a 64 EH and in the middle of converting it to a HR Disc Brake Front end and putting a Turbo 700 Gear Box in the baby once thats done she should purr a Long it has a 5 Speed in it at the moment but its sloppy as.. any ways love the car mate and good to see there still alot of people out there that has the passion for old cars...
