I thought that Monaros were easy to sell? It must be a real dunger if you cant sell it. Either that or you want more than the market is willing to pay (which would be its true value as something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it).

Hello Jim,

My name s Michael, and I am the owner of this Monaro that you have commented on above. i originally purchased this car with the intention of restoring it from a collector/wrecker, but time and money, and the starting up of a new business adventure has forced me to part with the car. This car is a real good one to restore, and wouldnt take much headache to restore as it is all there.
To say the least, this car has been difficult to sell, not because of its condition, but because of the mentality of "wannabe" Monaro owners that really dont have tuppence to rub together and really are dreamers.

The car auction ended last night, and a deal has been negotiated with one buyer that actually took the time to come and inspect the car, and said after months of looking, he said this car was by far the most original and easiest to restore, and the price was also right.

Jim, I suggest you get with the program, and please refrain from such accusations of my car being a real dunger, when you really do not have the right to say such a thing when you havent seen the car.

I also noticed that a poster previous to yours Jim, has called the guy I purchased the car off "shonky". This is also not really fair as he was a gentleman to deal with and went out of his way to help me. I will also add that i asked him if I could just use the photos he sent me when i bought it from him to list them on my auction, which he said he didnt mind at all, he is a real character and doesnt mind taking the piss out of people.

Hope this clears up any doubts you have.
Michael.

I guess that I worded it a bit wrong and for that I apologise as I didnt mean to call your car a dunger.

What I meant to say was that usually there are two reasons a sought after car such as a GTS wont sell A. its overpriced or B. an overpriced piece of crap which could still sell at the right price.

I was responding to WeWrecks original post of being unable to sell the car. He should have written that he was unable to sell it for the $ he was asking.

frank ya shonky bugger, nobody believes your story. you and michael are the same guy. you both have the same turn of phrase in your listings. If "Michael" used the same photos where did he get them from? The listing was already dead from your old listing

The listing was already dead from your old listing so he didnt get them off ebay. and even if he did the ebay watermark would be doubled up and twice as dark.
