Whats going on with the Sandman Club?
There has been a few people on the car club section of the forums asking about this, but it isn't getting far because not many people go there!!
So, anyone know what is going on with it?
There are some Sandman owners keen to join!

You could try www.sinbin.info Originally the majestic vanners website repointed to the sinbin forum but we are all now on sinbin.info We are friendly bunch who just wanna talk about VANS.

I would like also to see what has happend with the Sandman club, particular if one is in Brissy if not, why don't we form a club. Any takers?

Yep there is an official national Sandman owners club based in Geelong, complete with website. It has been around for quite a few years, it has the potential be a great thing but the original pres seemed to run it for his own amusement and not for the general good of Sandies and as a result it has not gone far. At the time of my joining there wer about 25 members. I had offered at the time to help with getting it fired up with meetings and newsletters and such with no reply. There was even a newsletter started but that soon disappeared. There is new management now and they are great blokes but it still seems to be very subdued. I would imagine there would be a flood of members if it got a bit of momentum. I have 4 Sandman vans and ute and would love to have an active club up and running

Not sure what happenned to this site, it hasnt been working for a few months now. Anyone know where its gone?

The moderator of www.sinbin.info has had some teething problems and will be offline for some time. We are trying to find an alternative domain and forum software to start again but cant give you a timeframe when that will be. Lets just say, I will let you know.

Being a computer nerd in my other life. I may be able to assist if required.
Problem is getting a reliable host for the forum. phpBB is easy to setup and run. Hell if there is enough interest I could get a host and domain up and running in a week. |

I have been looking the past week for a Sandman site/club, but cant find one. Anyway I have been looking because I have a sales brochure FEB 1976 (son of the beach) in VGC Im thinking of selling and I want a rough price guide. Im into HQs so I think its a little wasted sitting here. I dont want to sell it, but as I said its wasted packed away when a van restorer/owner could use it when displaying their van/ute etc...
