its not the room but the fact that you wont sufficate sleeping in the back of the van..as for your "a lot of money" comment, you of all people should know the value of a holden accessory..these second hand have been going for up to $1300..and are not as common as a hatch hutch..if you dont own a van you will never understand.. |

sorry greg, my post was purely tongue in cheek "a extra foot for $395"
i do own a HQ van, it's a HQ ambulance, so it'd make a great camper barn doors on the back and a extra door in the side, but i'll be restoring it back to original
yep i understand 100% the value of original accessories, the price of your repros is good and quality looks great, good luck with the sales

Pretty much. Sleeping in your panel van is all very good in theory but you run out of air pretty quick, especially with two people. Being able to have the tailgate down makes a massive difference for me at least, it's the only way I can stretch out. Would have been really nice to have one of these next week for my "I need to get the hell out of this goddamn city and go for a drive" holiday. Oh well, thanks for keeping us posted. A. PS got any more photos of the van? Love the wheels. Edited by user Wednesday, 16 March 2011 5:44:41 AM(UTC)

Just grabbed one of these and I have to say you really do get what you pay for. A tail tent. Quality is fantastic, and looking at the photos of the NOS tent it was based on I prefer the look of these repros, probably mostly because the colours have not faded after 30 years. Very impressed with your work.
