Hi Dr Terry, i have a 6 cyl hk power steering setup that is missing a bracket. On page #236 of the hk parts catalogue, part #16 inner bracket. What are the chances of finding this part? I dont have the hk power steer pump either, but i do have a vh commodore pump/bracket assy. I can't decide to fit this or sell the setup altogether. If so what are they worth nowdays?
IT has been off for a number of years now.

Cheers

You can use any 6 cylinder pump, even the VK pump, but you will then need to have special lines made, as the late pumps are metric. My personal preference would be the low VK pump so that you can mount an AC unit up top still.

Bracket 16 is the same on 308/253 but not the same as 307/327/350. So you are more likely to find than the other. What drag link do you have???

Id sell it and buy yourself a rear rack mount power steer kit. V6 conversions and CRS sell the kits.
