As above or will there ever be another V8 Monaro (that wears that name ?) Any thoughts ?

No Not with current market and cash flow problems, I think if there was to be one the chance has passed
Coupe 60 was a tease and thats as far as it went
Shame as the VE is best new model in a few years, and had potential to be a great coupe

they built a 40th GTS but was just a 4 door not a coupe how can u celebrate a coupe with a 4 door

no coupe on the near horizon, I work where the doors and other panels are made for Holden , nothing on the cards yet .
Now that GM are unloading Opel they are looking at selling the commodore on the european market and in the UK , this would include a deisel version.If it goes to plan and the market takes off a coupe may come if the demand is there.

Well hopefully European export of the commodore goes well and there will be demand for a coupe.

My sons mate was a temp engineer at holden a few years back when the z coupe ended and he told us there were definate plans then to do another in 08. As HZ prem said I think the current rumblings may have canned that.

Yeah I would have thought so also.
Shame as 40th Anniversary Edition would have been ideal.
Maybe they will still do one....eventually ? ?
