Hoping for some opinions. My old mans got someone offering to buy a grey motor head he has. He'll fully recondition it, including new seats before he sells (that's his trade) but what would you guys call a fair price for the head? Apparently they're a tad scarce, though certainly not rare.
Any thoughts? |

The actual head is only worth $50-100 on the open market. It is not uncommon to pick up whole grey motors for free. The value added is the reconditioning. It is your dads trade, so he knows what to charge for head reconditioning. |

Cheers guys. Yeah, he knows what his time and materials cost, we just wanted a feeler for the heads value as its been a long time since he played with Grey motors. Kinda funny that as he specialises in vintage, but gets mostly British and European stuff. |
