I believe he refers to it as his "Ample Rump", but "Bun Cakes" will suffice !

OK then, here is one way of sorting your concerns with each other out.

Now lets be honest and see how many people who read this decide to check.

On the subject of the HQ side decals ... Does anyone remember a panel van show car which Holden dressed up (the full shag-pile/mattress/cocktail cabinet works in the back; worth $6000-plus) and displayed at the Melbourne Caravan and Camping Exhibition, September 1973? And maybe it was at a Melbourne Motor Show as well, and other displays around the country. Im told it was probably white, probably dressed up with some GTS gear, probably with Water Splash or Superchicken on the sides.
This wasnt a dealers van, or privately owned, but an official Holden effort in the pre-Sandman era.
Anyone know of it or seen any photos?

Thanks, MrPink, but I havent been able to get hold of either of those mags, not even on eBay ... saw the mention of them earlier on in this thread. Did they have an advert for the decals, or a story about an actual vehicle?
Cheers,
Stuart

Both magazines featured the motorshow with the Holden stand. On their stand was the Superchicken panelvan and the Ewet (ute). Somewhere on the net is footage of that show and somewhere around here I have a copy on tape. It shows the Superchicken with it decked out and a very cute accessory it the rear.
I wonder if James at MMP is thinking of including the accessory package with the decals, Oh yeah.

Here is a link to the 73 Sydney motor show GM video. For some reason I thought it was 74. The chicken van is seen at the begining and then towards the end you see the interior. This is the van I posted a pic of. I remember drooling into the back of that van with a mate, it was considered very cool in 73 especially with the TV mounted in the back.

Check out also the custom HQ 4dr with leanings towards the Pontiac GTO, particularly the butt ugly bonnet scoops.

After being to the tattooist and getting a lovely wee job done on me rump these were left over. So maybe someone else can use them, a couple are missing though. If I can dig them out of the folds in ma cheeks I will toss them in.
