Hi All, As you see from my earlier post today I've had yet another nasty surprise with the HG. Dirty old cow...
Anyway, I live in Adelaide and I was wondering if there is somewhere I could take my car to have it thorougly inspected? My goal is to find out now all the things that are likely to fail so I can know wether it is worth persisting with the restoration. I dont want to repair my current problems for $1000's, only to find I then have to fix a whole lot more afterwards, and some things like beams rusting out from the inside I just can't spot myself. I'd guess that rust is going to be my main concern.....
I just need to know wether to continue, or scrap the whole project (as much as I'd hate to do this, I just can't justify spending 20K on a car that, when fully restored will only get 12K-14K back at best).
Regency is obviously right out of the question.
I really appreciate your feedback, thanks everyone....

If you're restoring it for your own enjoyment then forget the cost and do it right.
A $6000 loss on a car is
