Bosko a HX in that colour would have to be a Mingswood. I think the HX coupes were those LE versions were they not?

Yes it is a 4 door monaro according to my letter from HOLDEN but they may be wrong

More than likely to be more than 1 in that colour.

There is a photo of an HX GTS sedan on the styling turn table at Fishermans bend, so this car would have to be yours then.
If so I would expect the build date to be pre HX or first month HX for this to be the case.
maybe someone else might have some sugestions on the car on the turn table being yours.
Both this car and your GTS have a red interior.
Maybe the statement should have been "I own a Papaya HX Monaro GTS sedan and would like to find if there are any others out there".

Hi Warren thanks for a sensible reply I rang Holden @ 7 years ago about the car & they told me that going by the build date & the sale date (which they knew by the date the warranty started)that they owned the car for 11 months so it could be the car in the photo. By claiming to own the ONLY papaya HX Monaro ever made I was guarretying a responce. Worked Ha

Warren what makes you think it would be pre or early hx. Maybe its pre HZ as you would notice in the photo it has no monaro badges on the front guards which were also missing from the HZ. There is also the question of the girlock alloy brakes fitted to the car could they have been there for evaluation. Does anyone know when the brakes were introduced. Also is there anyway to ask the likes of bagshaw etc if they remember the car / why it was biult / why it was photographed on the turntable

Hi Bosko what happened to the ban bosko thread. If you have nothing nice to say say nothing at all. Pete all I ment was was the car at a show maybe with the bonnet up as I tend to look at compiance plates first then see if the car matches. But I like restored car as per factory Thanks Ron
