what are you looking at using the engine for?

how much power do you want?

how much do you want to spend?

what model car? if it has a red 202 in it then i would just add a black head and EFI also a HEI dizzy, some extractors and a upgraded carby like a 34 adm weber, all up that would cost about $500 depending on how much you can get the parts for

Hot up a 202 in a HZ Wagon. Thatd be over capitolizing.

Once fitted a 5L efi engine will go 5 times harder, be easier to drive and use less fuel.

Good luck with your decision.

Gas Gas GAS....DO IT !
checked out the gas rebate, and it reduces by $250.00 on June 30, then will be fased out over the next 4 years...$250.00 reduction at a time... IE : $1750, $1500 ,1250 ,1000 ,750 etc etc..or at least something like that.
I have a VK Commo Blue 6 with 12 port head , VK injection manifold ( plugged injecter holes ) and using a gas ring, works ok, but had to convert throttle hook up to cable , its in a HG Prem.
It is very economical, even with the trimatic...
Cheers, Ant...
Oh yeah, booked in my HT Kingswood for a gas conversion just today !
Supplier confirmed the rebate reduction....

I hope you have discussed the conversion in detail as the knob jockeys that do gas conversion are slap happy and generally have no respect for the car they are working on. You will possibly end up with a hole punched through your quater panel with some crappy look filler hanging out of it unless you specify otherwise and then draw them a picture of what you expect to be done.

Dont take anything for granted.
