Not sure if any are GTS engine bays but there all virtually the same. is there anything in particular you are looking for? If you want some more I have a couple of HX Caprice bays just have to ignore the anti lock hardware. Thanks Leroy When they were new was the timing cover behind the water pump & the welch plugs painted red. Ron

The timing cover is like the inlet manifold as in its had a simple drop over paint shield when painted at the factory. Mine has bits of factory paint around the edge. This is a HX 253 never removed from the engine bay. As for the welch plugs never looked but Im reasonably sure GMH used steel ones so the would have to be painted and I cannot imagine them installing them after the paint job. You can see on the above 253 side pic red paint on the timing case, mine has a lot less than this one. Edited by user Sunday, 7 June 2009 7:27:42 PM(UTC)
