Just picked up a second hand 202 holden engine ( blue ) out of a VH Commadore supposedly and checked the the piston after checking the amount of ridge on the bore.
The top of the pistons have 1.50 stamped on them does anyone know what that means.I thought that would mean 50 thou oversize but I would have thought the norm was 60 thou oversized.Oh there isnt much of a ridge on the top of the bore at all

The norm is not 60thou, its what ever the block requires I had a 253 that was 30thou over and a 202 with 40 thou over.

HK1837 is right 1.50mm is 59.0551181103 thou.
Thank god they still talk thou when it comes to cam lift..lol
