I dont know if this has been posted before?
But I see a lot of you car fans wanting to show pictures of your car's etc, I will try to help you out. Its not difficult, but you need to know how its done?

1. First of all you need an image host (that means somewhere on the Internet to store your file (picture) etc
There are many free host websites that will do this for free

To give an example I will use this site http://tinypic.com/

Now use the image below as a guide

Browse, (most likely My Documents Folder, My Pics etc) the picture you want people to see on the Forum

2. When the picture has been successfully uploaded, it will give you the option to copy in a few different codes as the image below shows. It will also allow you to change the size, as your can see the Forum code is tagged with [ ] this is called BB tags and this is what a normal Forum will use unless HTML code is allowed.

Dont get confused with BB, HTML etc etc, just use the BB code for this forum which is here
http:...aq.asp

I hope I didn't confuse anyone, feel free to email me if I didn't explain it well enough

Hope I helped

Cheers

The only difference is you havent wrapped the URL in the BB code tags,
[ img ] = image the end tag and [ /img ] is the end tag .

So if you did this (without spaces) [ img ] http://gallery.oldholden...3-3/2006_0903mn0034.jpg [ /img ].

you would get the result of this

Got it? If not click the reply with quote and you will see exactly what I did, hence [ img ] [ /img ] is for images (pics)

Good luck , its very simple !

place your mouse pointer on the pic , right click on it , then left click properties in that menu screen , Now where it says Address (URL) , that script is what you need to place bettween The [ Img ] tags.

E.G [ img ] http://gallery.oldholden...297124-2/hq%20couch.jpg [ /img ] (without spaces) !
