Is this a bogus add or not? Does anyone know this car and is it for sale? I would buy it for that if it was.

I think Ebay has answered your question for you and the ad has been withdrawn, so I think it was bogus.

If it looks too good to be true, it is too good to be true.
People must fall for it otherwise it would not be happening, I know you cant protect people from themselves, but every time I see this type of scam on ebay I report it.
If we all put them in they would stop trying it. Just like the other cnuts who send out emails telling you your bank account has been frozen.

There is another one on there now. It looks like they are using someone elses ebay account as well. A Bathurst 327 for 5000K.

I personally know of a couple of blokes that have fallen prey. One bought a Harley and gladly sent off $8K deposit to a dodgy in Darwin, another for an XY GT mock up same deal $8K. Dunno why they did it I wouldnt send that sort of money to an Aussie address without seeing the item. Apparently they know their stuff as under 10 grand the Feds will not get involved??

8k to me is ALOT of money, i would never hand that much over without seeing the car and at least getting it checked out (title check)
