Thats about 14.2ltr per 100k I would say thats not bad for a big windcatcher and trailer. The new 6.ltr Statesman only gets around 13ltr per 100k

Thats pretty good bear.
In a VS 5L (EFI & overdrive advantages) weighing 1600kg, plut 1T in a trailer, and 4 big blokes in the car, we averaged 16.0L/100km coming back from Bendigo one year (average speed up in the 90-95km region).

Cheers,

Mick

That is 20 MPG.
My 202 HQ manual sedan only got 17 MPG with a 750 KG trailer. on the highway.
I have always found the 308s are the better on fuel then 253s and the 6 cyls when towing. and even siting above 130 KM/H.

My Cross8 averages about 14-17 L/100kM normally, so not bad.

just finished recon on my HJ gts/4. 350 small block now 355cid, and first mileage check was returning 12.5 l / 100km. Was very impressed. not as good as (cough) civic (cough) returning 7.5 / 100 km - but at nearly 4 times the capacity, not too bad.

Taking it for a bit of a road trip (wtn - akl return) this weekend - be interesting to see the figures for the weekend

BAAAACK.

Run up to Akl, oiled up a couple of plugs early in the journey, ended up 100litres for around 800km.
Stripped it down a bit on the Saturday, cleaned plugs, tightened down head, etc.
Run back, 80Litres for 750km.

Gives 12.5 up, 10.7back, overall 11.6. pretty pleased. Oil leak in front seal chucked out 6 litres of oil over same distance, so wasnt a cheap trip ;)
