Doing the usual search on ebay & came across this listing for a HT GTS for $15K, thought ok a bit sus but well do the online tyre kick & have a look, firstly there is bugger all description, alarm bells start ringing, you go to check the seller feedback & all that comes up is the same page, mmm very dodgy, so go have a look & check it out, you may recognise the car, maybe it's yours?.....

If you look closely the ad for the Monaro is over the top of this one. You can just see it down the side of the top ad. Sus?

That HT GTS ad is fake. You will notice that you cant use any of the eBay links (try the ones on the bottom of the page)
He must of used HTML or something when he listed it to take over the page?

You will also notice that if you hover your mouse over the sellers eBay name next to his feedback and also the "email the seller" button,
its comes up with the site; nifclan.co.uk not an ebay.com.au page.

A quick whois search of nifclan.co.uk shows its registered by an individual by the name of andy

Domain name:

You only have to visit his site, http://nifclan.co.uk/ to prove my case.

Problem solved, its a scam.

Yeah this car was for sale in Kaniva Vic.

The bloke who owned it (Kelvin) had $50,000 on it and it was orginally a 186S car.

Nice looking if only I could have won the lotto lol.

Definate scam.

Spot on Matt.. If you right click the sellers name and go to properties you get

nifclan.co.uk/dawn/wp-includes/js/tinymce/themes/advanced/[email protected]&45uo5645py=290327543798&i456t4t5=1970 Holden HT GTS Monaro

Now if you left click on the sellers name to go to ask a question page, look at the browser bar!
You get this

www.lucacosentino.com/images/css/itm.php?

So it turns out luca cosentino is a Italian DJ and he is hosting the fake image of the "Ask the seller a question" page.
Naughty Naughty!
