Oh dear..my 15yo just flicked over to TGA. I dont watch it anymore. OK I know this is a GMH forum, but when it comes to the 70s cars, even the GTHO I wont knock.
Oh please what can we do with these t*ssers on TGA..well the bearded one anyway.
I know he gave the HO a good wrap at the end, but he is painfull. Of course you have to "drive" the older cars. DER !! He better stick to Lantras or power steer beemers.
And its Bathurst - not BATH HURST.

TGA is really really really really crap and lame. why didnt they do their own thing instead of downright copy. hopefully last episode of the season and forever and they start playing the real top gear again. Monday night used to be real good with mythbusters-top gear(UK)-southpark-shameless and now its pathetically painful because they show top gear australia which i dont think is very australian.
PS. i hate TGA....... really hate it

Are you all talking about that show on SBS that is a copy of that Pommy show Top gear, cos if so I am not a fan of the way they do things at all. And that skinny bozo with the beard needs to shave it baby, cos that wont pull the chicks..

I turned the sound up to listen to it go around Bathurst and all they did was play s***e music over the top. Still good to see one getting a workout :D

Wouldnt that be why they called it Top Gear - Australia? So they CAN copy the format of the original UK show?
BTW, Top Gear UK season 13 has just started up. In episode 2, they talk about a Vauxhall VXR Bathurst (Holden VE R8 Clubsport) which is factory supercharged.

Its not a copy its done under licence from the British show. It even has a BBC logo on the end credits.

Then why would they pay for the license to use the name if they arent going to use the same format?
I cant really comment though, I only watched the one episode when some guy was thrashing the W427 on a gravel track, hitting road markers. That was enough for me!

As soon as I saw the adds for that episode I decided to give it a miss. Another ****fest for a car that was WAY over rated in its time,or any other time.
