GDay,
I'm have just finished touch up work on my HG GTS 350 and I would like to know whether there are fitting instructions for the decals?
Namely the 350 on the guards and the GTS350 on the boot.
Am i correct in saying that there were never any instructions for the sidewinder stripes, hence no two cars the same?

FYI I have an HK-T-G workshop manual(s) and a parts catalogue but they dont refer to the location of the GTS stickers.
I am fairly sure that someone here will have the answer.

I am unable to help, have not found the dimension. My best betwould be to get in contact with the Vic Monaro club, as they have a couple of unrestored HG 350s that the owner might be willing to measure for you.

Rev,
I spoke to a few members with restored HG 350s and their decals are in different locations. I have a dealer brochure and it looks like the 5 lines up with the bumper bolt and the top of the number is alighned to the crease in the guard.
If you can get some measurements from your friend that would be great as well.

Sorted. The gap between the 3 nad 5 lines upi with the bumper bolt and the 350 sits on the crease line

Any location measurements on the 350 GTS boot sticker?
Or does the above post state the 3 and 5 between the rear right bumper bolts?

monaro magic book by norm darwin shows several pisc of original sales brochures on pg 66, 71 & 79 also a guide to side winder stripes & 350 location on guard by studying these should give you a pritey good indication a very informative book with heaps of text & colour pics, & shows factory stripe measurements for hk, ht, hq etc i have these books in stock for $59.95 plus 12.95 registered post australia wide or pick up one at my factory in geelong, or at bendigo swap meet at sites 1463 - 1464. i also have some signed by norm www.bellarineclassicautos.com.au
