On full lock i get some scuff on the outer edges of the tyres. Have been to a suspension place and he reckons all HQ do it. My question is do those of you out there all get steering scuff on full lock? If you have had it what changes have people made to lessen the effects of this. i have tired bushes, semi lowered springs, old shocks and a 25mm sway bar. Any advice greatly appreciated.

How many U-turns or tight turns do you do?
The more tight or U-turns you do, the worse the tyre wear will be on the outer edges (known as feathering).
Having an LSD that is in good condition can make the problem worse too, particularly if you tend t

Hi K1W1,
Ok so u are running wide tyres and do a lot of turns so thats part of it, andswered I'd say. As u have 16" rims, how is the offset ? And yes camber will impact scrub with such a wide tyre.
Cheers John

Put some negative camber in it. even 1/4 degree will help as they have positive camber std. It will also help them cornering. A HQ problem as some bright engineer decided that an understeering car was safer. If I can find the last set of figures I used
