I used a carpet and vinyl spray on parts of my J. I think it's a VHT product but not sure. 4 years on the door trims and still going strong. Just make sure you clean and degrease them properly before you spray. It's not as good on carpet

As trudluhq says , get the VHT Penetrating Dye , as it says it is dye which penetrates the vinyl . I have used a few different vinyl `paints' but yes the VHT stuff is an actual dye which is asorbed into the vynil opposed to just sitting on top . |

It cleans off all the accumulated gunge and Armourall/etc. It also

Hey also, my VL has built up a bit of grubbiness over the years on the vinyl. I was wondering will the VHT Penetrating Dye get rid of that dirt? Or is that more for prepping it for a respray? What do you guys find to be the best product to take the vinyl

The SEM Vinyl Prep is THE best stuff I have ever used to clean vinyl. You will need to put some of the oils back into it afterwards though. An uphosterer in Perth who does a lot of custom and Rod work recommends baby oil as a preserver for vinyl.
