Not having a VC commondore in front of me, can anybody tell me if auto and manual consoles are the same? Ie is it just a matter of changing the auto surround for a manual boot/surround thingy or do you need to change the whole console? Im pretty sure you can just change the section but just want to double check.. Cheers.

If its the hi-rise type console, then you can mix & match - manual ones have a section in them that needs to be cut out for the auto, but it can still be used on a manual without that bit anyway.
