how much would it rufly cost to get a vn v6 block bored and polished if i have already got the engine out and striped its just a bare block no crank cam or pistons or bearings i need a price please even if its a estimate

A bore & hone could be anywhere from $150 to $350 depending on where you go, how much else they do at the same time, and how bad the block is.

you will want to give your machinist the pistons you are useing as a good one will machine each bore to each cylinder as tolerances may very. you will also need it to be chemicaly cleaned which is about $100-$150 for both heads and block. you can add assembly costs if he needs to assemble to machine deck height.

OK, Im scratching my head with that one....

Boring refers to machining the cylinder bore back to an accurate circular shape, or correcting the alignment of the crank main bearing tunnel by boring it with the caps on (line boring).

What exactly do you want to do to the rings in a VT?

Ring an engine machine shop/builder & ask them. Thats what they do.
