I was working on a blokes WB the other day. It has a HG 253 in it. I went to do the timing and there is no marker on the timing cover. Just a bit where a timing pointer screws onto the cover.Can anyone tell me what this timing cover is from(or aftermarket?), and where I would get hold of a timing pointer to attach to it?

i have one of them little pieces on an engine thats about to be scrap metal unless anyone here wants its its just a short block +0.060 and worn badly has a small cam and flat tops and crank still in it 253 come get it if anyone wants it. can post that lttle piece if you want it EFI304HT just PM me. |
