I just got home from attending the Bendigo Sandhurst Holden Club show. Great day with somewhere around 280 Holdens on display. $10 to enter you Holden, $20 if you wanted it judged. Well run, food was as expected for the catering provided. Yeah it was $80 petrol, but the drive was good, traffic was not bad. Thumbs up, I will be attending next year. http://www.ehlimo.com.au/ |

I thought there was a few nice cars cruising around Bendigo. We were towing my mates Drag car over from S.A. to go to Heathcote and stayed in Bendigo Saturday Night..Just wish we had known there was a car show on..

Took my HQ coupe for its first run to the Bendigo day since the rebuild, there were some damn nice cars there including a couple of real good coupes. Would have liked to see some more Sandies there though. For myself coming from Echuca its an easy run and good to see the Vic country people catered for, will be back next year with a couple more cars for sure.

Hey Cannon, I had a good look at your car and you have done a fine job. A good example of one of the best colour combinations in my opinion. |

Thanks 253, still a lot to go, What were you driving on the day? After looking around a few original engine bays down at Bendigo I have found a few spots where I got it wrong, but mainly just cosmetic and easy to put right, wrong coil bracket in wrong spot and accelerator spring bracket missing, fit the correct fuel pipe, and a few other bits. Redo doors shortly, to rid them of a bit of rust and scratches. A new 308 sticker on the air cleaner. I dont know whats up with those things its the 3rd I have put on from rares,I put them on and the next day they shrivel up. We Wreck has given me a number of a bloke that custom makes them.

Yep, good day. First All Holden event put on by the Bendigo Sandhurst Holden Club up there. Good venue. Needs a little refining. Food service could be improved & management of entry points too, especially as the event grows. But, hats off to them, they were openly happy to ask for constructive criticism on the day. They will make it an event to look forward to in the coming years. Well done. Utility8 |
