Or get a Rochester Quadrajet and get it set up properly.

Byron, in your opinion what is better, a refurbished Rochester or a new Edelbrock?

I just reckon Holden pretty much knew what they were doing with the induction on the early 308s. They stuffed it up pretty bad on pollution red motors but that was the manifold not the carb. HDT got good performance out of blue/black versions of the 308 using a Quaddy and won plenty of races using them including Bathurst 1986 and 1987. So they cant be all that bad.

No, it was a serious question. The Edelbrock is a desendant of the quaddy/Carter, just wanted to see what you thought.

I have a 4 barrel 450 holley for sale and had only 10000km on the clock. I bought it brand new and do not require it any more. Asking 200 for it and will send it.
Please email me if you want it or got questions.
