Hi
Apart from the existing oil pressure sensor connection point at the oil pump of a holden red motor ,would anyone know of any other connection points that an additional sensor can be connected. There is a disconnected sensor installed between plugs 1 & 2 of the head ( ON THE CAR WE PUCHASED )and when removed looked like it had a spot of oil on it.Does anyone know if this is a spot to install an additional sensor.

No, that location on the head is for a temperature sensor/switch, it just senses the temperature of the metal.

With oil pressure sensors or switches, you can t-piece as may as you like at the one outlet (near the oil pump) & they will all work fine. You cant do that with water temperature sensors.

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0

^ So if the extra switch doesnt fit on a T-piece you may have to run a line away from the fitting with the switch mounted remotely
