will blue heads ,rochester and edelbrock performer intake work ok?the egr ports, any problems there? and what gasket?.(gas and unleaded fuel rollers and mild cam).any horsepower increase? any hints/help.

Yes. Most modern performers can be drilled for all pre pollution head variants. Just check its not an early one for red only. WIth the Performer the EGR ports should be blocked off by the manifold.

i think some blue heads on have the 2 centre manifold bolts that are off set to each other and an after market manifold wont bolt down in the centre on the later heads
