hey fellas just wondering with the 4 cylinder coupes what is involed in changing them to a 6? heard there is a bit

From my limited experience with them, front rails and panels and rear suspension mounting points.

its a big job, everything from the firewall forward is different (smaller and shorter) the fronts on these were the same as the HB, (grill ect same as LJ) but i think stone trays same a HB

its possible but is a big job, id say youd need a donor LJ with a good front and rails

this question has been asked plenty of times on another early holden site so maybe a bit of searchin may yeild some more answers

so with this one how he says the cross member has been changed to the 6cyl one its just for extra strenth? im starting to look for one a 4 cylinder coupe for a cool run about if any one has seen one. havent had much to do with holdens just mainly f$%^ , hk1837 was it u that had the sandman register?
